The Futsal African Cup of Nations 2024 will take place from April 8–17. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) organizes the international futsal championship every four years for men’s national teams in Africa. This will be the eighth edition of the event. As usual, additional excitement is caused due to the fact that the top three teams from the tournament will qualify for the 2024 FIFA Futsal.

This prestigious tournament, doubling as the qualifying stage for the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup, will unfold in the home of the reigning African champions. Morocco is poised to capitalize on the familiar territory and passionate support to defend their title and secure passage to the World Cup.

“We are honored to welcome the Futsal Africa Cup of Nations back to Morocco,” declared Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the FRMF. “This tournament symbolizes our dedication to fostering the growth of futsal and offers a platform for our exceptional athletes to showcase their talent on the international stage.”

Morocco has an impressive record of futsal wins – three consecutive Arab Futsal Cup titles and a recent league victory in Croatia. With this newfound advantage of playing on home turf and a seasoned team, they will undoubtedly put on a brilliant performance for both the continental title and the prestigious World Cup.
