Futsal Africa Cup of Nations Qualifying Teams
The 2024 Futsal Africa Cup of Nations will see eight teams battle it out for the continental title. The qualification process involved a preliminary round and a final tournament.
Qualified Teams for Futsal Africa Cup of Nations:
- Angola
- Egypt
- Libya
- Mauritania
- Morocco
- Namibia
- Zambia
- Ghana
Format:
Ten teams entered the qualification rounds, which were held in January and February 2024. The five winners of the preliminary round advanced to the final tournament. Angola, Egypt, and Morocco qualified automatically for the final tournament as the top-ranked nations. Mauritania was initially disqualified but later reinstated after Cameroon was disqualified.
The final tournament will take place in April 2024 in Morocco. The eight teams were divided into two groups, and the top two teams from each group advanced to the knockout stage.
The top three winners in this event will also qualify for the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2024.
